Ticket Policy

Key points from our ticket policy:

  • All attendees must book a ticket

  • Unless we cancel an event we do not issue refunds

  • If you arrive later than the advertised start time we may not be able to admit you

  • Dogs are not able to attend ticketed events

 

1. About Us

2. The contract between us when you book a ticket

 

Our ticket booking process allows you to check errors before you confirm your booking. Once you have submitted your booking and have received a confirmation email from us the contract between us is formed.

 

The contract formed by these terms is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.

If we cannot confirm your tickets (if a show has been cancelled or is sold out for example) we will inform you by email or phone. If you have already paid for tickets you will be automatically refunded.

 

3. Amending these terms

 

We may need to update these terms from time to time. If we revise these terms when a contract exists between us (you have tickets booked) we will give you reasonable advance notice. If you are unhappy with the new terms you can choose to cancel your existing booking/s and you will be refunded in full.

 

4. Attending an event

 

Where applicable we regard a child as someone aged fifteen or younger.

 

Phones must be turned off.

 

Strobe lighting, smoke effects and loud sound effects are sometimes used.

 

Dogs cannot attend ticketed events.

 

It is the ticket buyer’s responsibility to let their party know that we may photograph, film and record our events. These photos, films and recordings may be used at any time for evaluation, promotion or in connection with other projects both for Trevow Helston CIC and the organisations we work with. 

 

5. Smoking & vaping

 

All of our events operate no smoking and vaping policies. If you do want to smoke or vape we will ask you to leave the event area.

 

6. Alterations

We may sometimes make alterations in the advertised cast or other details of the event where reasonably necessary.

 

7. Cancellation & refunds

 

Events will only be cancelled in relation to weather if it would be dangerous for the event to go ahead.

 

We only issue full refunds if an event as been cancelled. We will refund you using the method of payment you used to purchase your tickets.

 

We are unable to exchange bookings for other events.

 

8. Delivery

 

We only issue digital tickets and cannot post physical tickets.

 

9. Price of tickets

 

When booking tickets we cover the card processing fee however we pass onto you the booking fee. This booking fee is calculated at 2.5% of the gross order total.

 

10. Liability

 

If we don’t follow these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a direct result of our breach. 

 

You agree to not use tickets for commercial purposes and accept that you cannot resell any tickets that you have booked. We can cancel any ticket that we have found to be re-sold by a booker.

 

11. Other

 

Each of the paragraphs in our terms operates separately. If any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

 

If we don't enforce these Terms or delay enforcement, we haven't waived our rights and you're still bound by your obligations. Any waiver we grant must be in writing and applies only to that specific instance.

 

When we say “in writing” we also mean email.

 

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract or dispute will be handled under English law in English and Welsh courts. Residents of Northern Ireland or Scotland may also bring proceedings in their respective countries.
