To Be Or Not To Be
Helston Old Chapel
7.30pm 26th September 2024
by WhatNow Productions presented by Trevow Helston

A double bill of witty and moving solo shows inspired by the Bard
Two men on the precipice, deciding whether to jump or not!
First up, Happy As Larry. Poor Friar Lawrence is having a bit of an existential crisis, trying to piece his life back together after that whole Romeo and Juliet fiasco. Will he find his faith again, or is he doomed to forever swear off love potions?
In our second piece, Unsex Me Here, we meet Ben, an actor whose dreams of playing Hamlet have somehow landed him in a fuzzy rabbit costume at kids' parties. Watch him hop between despair and determination as he channels his inner Lady Macbeth – minus the bloodstains, plus the floppy ears!
Join us at the chapel for an evening of laughter, second chances, and unexpected career moves.
Come see how Shakespeare's characters might fare in a world of therapy sessions and birthday gigs.
